Last night's security updates give error "one or more parameter values are not valid" on opening certain messages in Outlook
Last night, windows update put the following security updates on: 912442, 931832, 916803, 926666, 924334 for our Exchange Server 2003 machine. (its a newish server, and we've only just turned on automatic updates) Since then, on trying to open certain messages in Outlook (2000 & XP), users get the error "one or more parameter values are not valid". However, the messages will open in Outlook Web Access. We've removed the updates temporarily, and it fixed the problem. Anyone else had this, or any ideas for a proper fix ?

yes i also installed patch number kb931832 as a result many of my clients were unable to open their outlook and on top of that public folders got unmounted with free/busy service (calendering) was not available. as a rollback plan we uninstalled that patch after uninstallation outlook started to logon but still public folders are not mounting. Exchange is still giving same problems, anyone who have resolved this issue? Qais
